Renaissance Academy is committed to community service. Each year our school identifies three organizations or community-oriented efforts that are dedicated to improving the lives of Colorado Springs residents. Renaissance Academy also looks nationally and internationally each year to embrace one worthy effort or need that will make a difference in the lives of others less fortunate. When our students are working to help others, it not only expands their awareness of diversity both at home and abroad, but it fosters values of citizenship. We are currently participating in the Care and Share Harvest of Love food drive which started on October 11th and ends on December 15th. Upper divisions and lower divisions are competing for a fun class party! We are accepting cash donations in front of the office. Every $1 equals 10 lbs of food so this is a great way to make a difference. Food donations must be healthy, well-packaged and must not have glass containers. Look for the boxes set up in the commons.
