Our school features divisions, not grades, each of which comprise a two –year range, with the exception of the middle school, which is a three year age range. 

The ideal candidate must be able to teach all the Core subjects (language arts, reading, social studies, natural sciences, and math). We prefer several years teaching experience. A Masters Degree and a Colorado Teaching License is preferred. Strong clinical skills and expert classroom management may substitute for some of the aforementioned qualities. 

Applicants must be well rounded in classroom management, so that he or she can create individualized programs for gifted children.  The teacher needs to deal effectively with students who learn best in an environment promoting 3-dimensional/hands-on/experiential learning. 

The ideal candidate should also be a team player who is proactive in their interaction with parents.  The teacher must understand the relevance of their instruction and the benefit to their students, and be able to communicate those messages to their parent base. 

Salary is competitive, and the teaching environment is one which reflects great collegiality among the staff. 

In the preschool we have a half-day and a full-day program. The ratio is 8:1.  Director qualification for preschool is preferable, and a bachelors degree is necessary.
