Colorado Springs is one of six national KCIC sites, and the Crayola Dream-makers program is the first step in the process to become a "site school". The Crayola program is the visual arts component of KCIC, which believes that art is an "educational necessity for a nation that hopes to pass on its most valuable legacy, the creative spirit, to future generations." Being a Crayola Dream-makers site school means that there is opportunity for
