This year, Renaissance is proud to be a "Crayola Dream-makers Site School" for the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration (KCIC).

Colorado Springs is one of six national KCIC sites, and the Crayola Dream-makers program is the first step in the process to become a "site school". The Crayola program is the visual arts component of KCIC, which believes that art is an "educational necessity for a nation that hopes to pass on its most valuable legacy, the creative spirit, to future generations."

Being a Crayola Dream-makers site school means that there is opportunity for nationwide recognition of teachers and students' creative work. Please go to www.imaginationcelebration.org if you want to learn more about KCIC, and Crayola Dream-maker site schools.
