Renaissance Academy is a private school in Colorado Springs with a unique gifted education program.

Our Mission : Our mission is to provide a gifted education program for the motivated student. We are devoted to helping a community of learners reach their personal potential within an experiential, individualized and developmentally appropriate structure.

Our Classes: Our elementary classes offer a small 13 to 1 student to teacher ratio allowing our teachers to provide for the academic needs of each student through skill-grouping and individual attention. 

Our Program: Our experiential program incorporates the best of successful learning programs including expeditionary educational programs. Teachers utilize interactive 'hands-on' demonstrations, debate, team orientations, and  field trips to promote a desire to learn from internal discipline and motivation.

Yahoo for a Cause
Renaissance has recently signed up to be a recipient of funds generated by a search engine called GOODSEARCH.  GoodSearch is a Yahoo-powered search engine with a unique social mission.  They give 50% of their advertising revenue to the nonprofits and schools that their users designate, about a penny per search. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Renaissance Academy as the charity you want to support.  Bookmark the Goodsearch web site and spread the word to your friends and families!
If 100 supporters search the internet just twice a day, this amounts to $730/year, and  if 1,000 supporters search the internet just twice a day, it totals $7300/year for our school!
